Cats pull Kapow hair

I realise there was only 50 seconds left on the clock, but Manly were on half way and the penalty was a no brainer.
You clearly see a Penrith player grab Kapow by the hair and slam his head into the ground.
How this was not a penalty is inconceivable....
Manly would have had 4 tackles inside the 20m line and close to a 50/50 chance to score a try.
Not excusing not closing out the game after earning a big lead, simply stating it was 100% a penalty and still not sure why it wasn’t.
Ridiculous way to finish and the 2 blatant strips on aTaufua with the Ref 45cm away was also a mystery

The commentary even said it should have been a penalty. They also mentioned the 'unlucky' decisions that went against us when they happened.
This doesn't excuse the way they played in the final 15 and the lead they blew. The players need to find the resolve to hold on to a lead and win in challenging circumstances because we're up against it from all angles. Everything, including luck is against us this year.

The refs played their part missing a blatant knock on before the panfers first try in that 7 minutes so no chance they were going to give us a sniff by blowing an obvious penalty. Had we let the panfers score on that play after the knock on the vidiot would have ruled no try and we win the game.

If you look closely at the replay you will see that one cat was pulling Kapows hair and another cat was pulling Kapows cck

Lussick got penalised and suspended (charged at least) for a hair pull on Woods. Taupau’s hair gets pulled every 2nd week and there’s never a penalty. Standard NRL consistency.

I normally don't lay the blame for a lose on the refs but this time I think they had a big hand in the outcome. Sure Manly didn't lose because of the refs but the two refs were pathetic and should not be refereeing first grade.

The Panthers did well at slowing the play the ball down effectively by putting their hands on the ball in the tackle and holding the tackled player down for far too long. The refs were happy for them to this. And Manly did not adjust well enough. At the start of the year these slowing down tactics would have resulted in penalties but not in this game. You could see that Manly wanted to play a more faster uptempo game but the refs did not allow them to do this. Time and time again Manly would be trying to push up for a fast play the ball when they were tackled but the Panthers just held on and on to allow their line to get set for the next play.

Some refs don't give any latitude in the tackle but both Badger and Cummins allowed these slowing down tactics. You could clearly see that Manly were frustrated throughout the game and it boiled over at the end when they were penalised for dissent. It would have been a far better game if there had been competent refs in charge.

And both Taufua's dropped balls were clearly strips. The one at the end of the game was also the wrong call.

Come on guys, we should never have lost that game and you can’t blame the refs. Karma was against us the moment Daly’s penalty ricocheted off the post. It was like watching another game there on.

Opposition teams purposely target jorge in the play the ball.its so blantant. Sometimes jorge is feeling all those hands on the ball and lets it go , trying to get the penelty. Problem is he gets around 1 penelty a game and about 3 called as drops.what happened to refs warning players to keep hands of the ball.

We were up by a country mile with not long left, so im not going to blame the ref , coach or whoever else . The players lost that by switching off and everything went penrith's way. Not good enough and actually laughable sadly.

Someone could then train Turbo on how to hold the ball safely against his side or stomach. Quite a bit harder to knock the ball out compared to almost one handed against the inside of his arm.

These are all basic football skills about ball control. We would have won the game against the riff and a couple more with some simple skills training.

Tafua is just one of several Manly players who never seem to eradicate those basic faults in their game.

Surely things like griiping the football properly, playing the ball properly and not throwing passes when they’re not on aren’t that hard to realise.

Get a haircut, come on Terry they have an image to uphold mate. Getting a haircut in spite of the very game they so called love and even for the sake of the team if need be. Hardly anyone in this side would sacrifice that, as this year has always been about the image and seems more important to them than anything else. Fame is a mask that eats into the face mate and our team suffers from it big time.
