Worried about Walker's defense at fullback.
Hoping Sirro runs hard and passes outside him.
Thinking Foran brings back some confidence to the pack with superior game management.
Less game managing = less stress for Dce.Should equate to more natural football than forced.
GO MANLY................

Congrats and best wishes to our 3 debutants and one prodigal son ....

Aloaia ... you've lain with cats, Davey, you slimed on the ground with slugs, Saab, you've played with dragqueens ..... IT IS NOW TIME TO SOAR WITH THE EAGLES ....

and welcome back to the prodigal son ... Foran ..

RIP in lads ... Go Manly !!

When is final team locked in

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Des Hasler has cut his squad for tomorrow's season opener against the Sydney Roosters at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Toff Sipley and Morgan Harper drop out of the 21-man squad named on Tuesday.

The final team will be announced at 4.30pm tomorrow. Kick-off is 5.30pm.

Spot on @robbiea !

Welcome back Foz (never thought I'd be saying that) and it'll be great to see how he and the other newbies go in the Manly colours.

Please, no injuries! Go Manly!!!

I think we might be surprised tonight , in a pleasant way.

Maybe not a win , but I think they’ll compete better than anyone thinks.

Most have death ridden them for weeks ( months ) so this is where they get to show that it’s not all bad.

Injuries are the key , get through relatively unscathed and we’ll go ok.

#GoManly

And not #nextweek TODAY!!
I agree mate, I’m not saying we’ll win but I think if our forwards lay a reasonable platform you have to think that Foz and DCE would lead the way to a large degree.

Now don’t you start getting too positive....
I just hope you picked east in the tipping !!!
Just sayin’

I don't know about u guys but I'm sick to death of the potential 'ducks and drakes' BS with our team list. I'd prefer our to coach to OWN his decisions, give us fans clarity and certainty on who's playing where and just get on with it, whether result good or bad. Most of the top teams don't muck around - they have confidence in the 17 picked Tuesday at 4 and barring any mishaps that's the team that takes the field. We have enough concerns as fans with weaknesses in key positions without wasting energy pondering wtf is gonna play. (And "Go Manly!)
