Ryan Matterson in the Market will be an intersesting one.
He has certainly made headlines for himself over the years that seem to always contain a capital 'I'.
But I just can't imagine our club not having a discussion at the very least here either.
Tigers won't go back there. Souths, Raiders, fins perhaps might go there. But not sure he will be fight n teams off either.

He has been poor this season. Not sure if it's because his heart is not in Doesn'tmatta or he is on the slide. He had plenty of talent when he came into the NRL and if he could regain those performances he'd be a worthy partner to Guacca.
I'd imagine we'd be interested in him. Problem will probably be that he'd want a three year contract and it would be a gamble for any club to commit to him for that long on the hope he'd recapture previous form.
They never say how much it will cost De$, if he loses

Agreed. But then of course Guac is also going to be sitting on the pine for 2 games. And he wasn't even playing in the bloody game and still gets suspended. Matterson no 2 should fit right in. :~

When I was there (2011) zorba said 'wait here and I'll come and get you after the match and you can meet the players'

I know that every club has thoughtful, decent young men who do this stuff. The JTBurbos are the epitome of that type of player.
