So, with all the delays on the ports, I think that could be the issue. Caps and scarves etc cost about $5 each or less from China, so it makes economical sense for the club to so..

It’s a little crazy the club can’t get the membership packs out before Xmas.
Just received a email from the club stating they can’t send them out until late December.
What is the membership team doing to warrant such a hold up?
Personally I bought my son a membership so he could open it for Xmas.
A little disappointing really….

We are also competing with other clubs inc AFL etc to source this type of stuff. Many use the same supplier that we do (I think if same one from a few years ago). Most if the AFL clubs have in excess of 50k members.

I get that but surely the club has a target set for memberships and data showing roughly how many sign up straight away and how many wait until the new year.

They wouldn't wait until the season's over to start designing and planning for next season so get ahead of the queue and order ( 5k?) early so things like this are avoided to an extent.

Incentives for signing up early and getting members packs pre Christmas is a selling point so make sure it happens and then it's an easier sell for future years.

The Member packs have always come well before Kick off and that should be the Key point
