I'm super happy mate. But one good win doesn't make a season. As I said I'm more than happy to eat a bucket full of humble pie if it means Manly continues winning. I'm honoured that you think of me in this moment. Waiting for the full-time whistle to blow. It's good to know I'm inside your head!

What a gritty win. The Seibold scavengers are going to have a quiet week I suspect.

Not at all mate. We all want the same thing. It's not hard to fathom.

We have played like dirt for most of the past five weeks. Tonight was tough and gritty, by far our best performance of the year. Long may it continue. Hopefully we smoke the Eels next week.

A Manly win trumps everything, even the sanctimonious gloating from low self esteem numpties. I knew we’d win this one, and even collected on a nice little bet as well. Happy days. Ps cows were terrible and we should have won by 50. 😀

But the Cowboys were pathetic across the park.

Too many players saving themselves for Origin was a major contributor to our gutsy win. Deardon and Robson were AWOL.

Whilst I partially agree,Dearden was more involved and productive than his opposite number,whose been preserving himself for Origin for about 5 weeks

At times during the night I was thinking game management. We hold out Cows for three sets get the ball and instead of solid up the field and put a kick on to get field position for next set we try to score off play 2. DCE kicks on play 3, run 50m don’t take the tackle but throw a miracle ball. It’s a fine line between the Manly attacking machine and lots of dropped balls and over the sideline passes. I liken Manly to Mike Tyson if you get hit it’s all over but if you go three rounds then you’ll just see hay makers and you can win the game.

Putting Dearden at halfback stifles his best attributes of playing what’s in front of him & running. Worked out well for us though which is great

Tonight was a really important game. Huge in fact. Whether you love Siebold or think he's Spoon man, the players tonight showed that he has most definitely not lost their support. They are still playing for him and each other. Whether or not that continues throughout the entire season time will reveal all. I hope they go on a run and DCE doesn't create any more negative headlines.
