Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Yes it appears so. Not very politically correct. And here I was thinking he is woke. I'm just stunned that he managed to get ahold of my photo tbh. That photo was taken by the Mrs Thewestisbest way back when Scott Penn announced Siebold would be taking over from Desmond.
I’m disappointed more than anything else. Always thought we were more inclusive than that. I assume that profile pic in your budgie smugglers is a more recent one, so well done on losing some weight, not that there’s anything wrong with being a bit chubby (no pun intended). Was “moist” Mrs Thewestisbest idea? Nice touch.

Yeah, I have put in the hard yards out here in the Golden West, stair running and power walking along the banks of the Nepean River. Mrs Thewestisbest wanted to write something on the other side of the budgies, something big and scary. I decided upon "moist" on the rear. I'm a humble dude.

Tonight was a really important game. Huge in fact. Whether you love Siebold or think he's Spoon man, the players tonight showed that he has most definitely not lost their support. They are still playing for him and each other. Whether or not that continues throughout the entire season time will reveal all. I hope they go on a run and DCE doesn't create any more negative headlines.

You’re an inspiration. It’s hard to be humble, believe me I’ve tried. Love the golden west, it’s where men are men and the women have no complaints. Hope to see you on the river walk one day.

Only 2 teams have achieved consistent success this year so far ... Bulldogs 9-1 and Warriors 8-2 ... every other team has mixed results .. other than the dismal Parra, who's consistency is heart warming.

4 of our losses have been at the hands of top 4 teams .... 4 of our wins have been against top 8 teams.

We're currently sitting 6th ... which most people predicted before the season kickoff. and this mostly with a patched together forward pack, a rookie hooker, a largely ineffective Turbo and the DCE curfuffle. Not excuses, but factors that obviously contribute to results.

I'm not about to throw the baby out with the bath water yet.

Good to learn there is another brother from the Golden West on here. It's no wonder I resonate with your views.

We're doing better than I expected. I was of the belief we would be about here, but being full strength.

We were at 5-1-5 this time last year, with similar negative points... Upset at home, losing in tight matches, going from losing against the Dragons to beating Penrith, losing three in a row etc. But last year, we had Paseka for every one of those games. We had a fit Turbo for every one of those games bar one. We had Croker for every game bar two. We had Tommy Talau breaking through and giving us backline depth. We have had basically none of that this year.

We have been far worse on the injuries front this year, and we've managed about the same. I'm holding out on this year, because we are yet to see us full strength, and I believe we will only be at full strength again right before finals. I think we could go on a bit of a run them.

That’s all true, but why is it that we are so inconsistent? It’s not just people on here saying it, you’ll find most commentators are saying the same about manly. Our best and worst are far to far apart. This win actually doesn’t surprise me that much. Just as it won’t surprise me if we turn in a stinker next week against the lowly eels. Let’s hope not and I hope I’m wrong.

When i watch our team compared to the front runners, we’re nowhere near a premiership team. Unless we manage to hit some top form as we come into finals (🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻) I can’t see us making a splash.

Well, we're a triumvirate then (without wielding any power whatsover 😁) ... Residing on the banks of the Nepean River and I love it.

All power to us Manly Men keeping it real out here in

Grew up a Westie and have lived in and around Penrith for almost 40 years. Honestly wouldn’t live anywhere else, but we better not say too much, the secret will get out.

Yes, we wouldn't want that.

Into my 50th year of living in the Penrith LGA and whilst it can get as hot as a furnace in summer and as cool as the relationship between DCE and the Club, I've loved every minute of it.
