Reserve Grader
All sounds very familiar. What happened at Seibolds last gig again?Yep, it's also known as losing the locker room.
When a coach is unable to get his players connected and ready to rumble.

Who would have thunk it might happen again Alfred E Neuman? All sounds very familiar. What happened at Seibolds last gig again?
And we have Isaac Moses entrenched in the club to boot. It just makes me want to sing oh what a wonderful morning oh what a glorious day.All sounds very familiar. What happened at Seibolds last gig again?
lets hope soIs it possible Lodge replaces Waddell on the bench or will he drop Navale off the bench for Lodge
I’m keen to see Navale get more minutes see how capable he is of holding down a permanent bench spot
I think you are right on this front , I imagine some of the players are fuming at what’s going on.Not really. In most games we have won except the Panthers, which was the best win of all imo. We had ALL the momentum in penalties and six against. We are and have been for many years good under these circumstances, as are most sides in today's game. Yes DCE has contributed, no doubt. Which is why I don't understand how our coach has kept him in charge of the playing group.
Like I said, it displays weakness. It screams "you can walk all over me and the club."
No doubt it would have upset a bunch of our players.
No, but it might be a little difficult to move unwanted players on to another club. Or land an actually half decent Moses client that becomes available who might fit the bill for what we need.He maybe entrenched in a sense that he has a lot of his players and a coach at the club, but does he really have and power or the upper hand? Moses can hardly hold the club over a barrel with the quality of players he has there. Not sure the threat of taking Brooks or Talau out of Manly if Seibold is shown the door,is hardly going to spook the club hierarchy,at least I hope so
Right now it appears we are a dumping ground for mediocrity as far as Moses is concerned. He maybe entrenched in a sense that he has a lot of his players and a coach at the club, but does he really have and power or the upper hand? The good news is Seibold is a Moses client, so we know uncle Nick and the roosters wont nab him.Right now it appears we are a dumping ground for mediocrity as far as Moses is concerned.
I actually thought Burbo was one of our better players on Sunday. So the selection regresses back to Jake at lock, Ben in the 2nd row and Waddell on the bench. This to me is the crux of the problem, Jake is too slow for lockforward, Burbo and Waddell are reserve graders. They keep selecting the same old same old and wont deal with the obvious problems we have.
I would have young Joey Walsh on the bench so we can blood a kid who is our future and have a ready made replacement for our halves all set to go!
To give him credit he’s at least having a crack , and yes is getting betterI actually thought Burbo was one of our better players on Sunday.
Was also good against the rif. He has cut down his errors. Unfortunately the rest of the team have gone the other way.I actually thought Burbo was one of our better players on Sunday.
Yeah, I couldn't believe how many pathetically bad offloads they threw directly to a Sharks player. Had me seriously wondering whether they were losing on purpose. Was also good against the rif. He has cut down his errors. Unfortunately the rest of the team have gone the other way.
He was.I actually thought Burbo was one of our better players on Sunday.
Fortunately neither are theirs.Purdue played all his junior footy as a half, and has been killing it in the centres, a position he had never previously played. He is very quick off the mark and will likely cause plenty of problems in the middle of the field. Dearden never gives up. And on top of that, Drinkwater plays pretty much as an extra half.
Up against them we have an old bloke with one eye on Origin and the other eye on his new red, white and blue team, and a slightly less old bloke who has always struggled to take control of a game.
But the halves will be the least of our problems. The game will be won in the forwards, and ours are just not very good.
well it will be one of the two for Qlds 7 so maybe that will be sone incentive for dce to play well. We know playing for manly alone ain’t any.Deardon is a superb player - and competitor. Might bring the best out of DCE
