These guys are not doing it sober. It is irresponsible use of alchohol rather than alcohol, but say to say that it is not a factor is blindness.

It is frequently a factor but it is not the cause.
The cause is the belief that real men solve problems by hitting people. Alcohol simply loosens inhibitions so they can express their beliefs.

I didn't say it was alcohol in this case but that alcohol does a lot of damage to our society. If there was no alcohol would their not be less people in hospital every weekend?

If alcohol was outlawed starting today, then by this weekend (tomorrow) there would be mayhem, panic, chaos and anarchy. I think Prohibition brought boom times for hospitals 😉
