Great album. Although saw him with Crazy Horse a couple of years ago at a Day on the Green gig and it was a bit of a let down as he played very little Harvest. The Punters including me were less than impressed.

Ditto, I saw him in concert in the US during the Harvest period, magical.

Then a few years ago with Crazy Horse, could hardly hear myself think, all this very loud , crappy music.

He played 3 acoustic numbers and the crowd went ape****.

Talk about not reading his market!!

But still love the albums.

Have to admit, the higher up the food chain the less sympathy I have for offenders. This bloke, in control of an NRL club and ultimately the person responsible for the well-being of many teenage and young adult males in his club, has really dropped the ball. Good luck finding another management position in Australia.

Having said all that, I agree with a number of earlier posters who have queried the point of certain substances being prohibited. The point (in simplest terms) is the power and financial clout of the alcohol, tobacco and pharmaceutical lobbies!

Watched a doco that had fmr US polotitions from the 60/70's saying they started a war on drugs specifically to get more blacks into jail. This was emphasised by Regan and the massive swelling of prison numbers by the end of the 80's / start of the 1990's.

Basically its cheap labour that the US Companies benefit from. Modern slavery is how its known 😎

Our NSW Corrective Services Industry is also large, but prisoners are not forced into a particular job.

Plus our incarceration for drug use is rare.

Hard labour was abolished in Oz, but the US still has their chaingangs, even in women's prisons 😱

You see if I went to see Crazy Horse, and I have 3 times, and they played a single song off Harvest I would be highly surprised.

However if they played Welfare Mothers, Powderfinger, Cortez the Killer, Sedan Delivery and Cinnamon Girl you'd have a great NY & CH set list.

Partly right Seaeaglerock 8. I would suggest a much bigger profit is being made from the supply by many unscrupulous and powerful people in the community though, through the supply of illicit substances...a much bigger profit margin that alcohol and cigarettes.

And then you forget the industry that has developed around illicit drug use. Increased policing, solicitors, courts staff, insurance companies, prisons, not to forget the fines imposed which add to the public purse. There's a whole industry out there that would be financially bankrupted by legalising these substances. Damned if you do. Damned if you dont.
