I really think he's up against it to make our side, maybe in a week like this although at full strength he doesn't deserve to be a part of the team

Hastings has been named at 7 for ISP side and Brown not named in that side,gives me the feeling that if Brown proves his fitness he will be in the 17....

b. How much game time Hastings/Cullen get (will Baz start Hastings to have a GK in the starting team and bring cullen on as spark later)

Think Dragons will be very hard to beat down there but will be an interesting game regardless!

Poo would actually be handy in the 14. With Cullen at hooker being he's so small, it would be good to have Poo spell him when the workload gets too much, as it inevitably will...

I would like DCE to take ownership of the goal kicking role. He should be able to handle it. A good goal kicker needs calm nerves, and DCE is one of the most level-headed players around. There is no question he has the talent to be a good goal kicker. Why, he probably could emulate Mike Eden and kick with either foot.

Haha, mike eden thats a big ask but i see what you mean. Hastings offers so much , can kick play a number of positions and seems like the logical choice to me . He's there this week due to injury maybe because we have no choice at the moment with lewy and api out , its certainly not ability therefore it must be attitude. Fuhced if i know but its frustrating.

Some big opportunities what ever way they line up this week. Let's talk the dragons up. No way we can win this week. We have two players out. All's I care about is our discipline and our game management this week.

Cullen will start, he will play first minutes to take the early attack from dragons. Then Hastings will come on. If Brown is fit he starts and does cullens job and cullen drops out. Having hastings play 50mins plus means we have a goal kicker.

DCE being forced to kick is perfect. Long term anyway.

I know you all have it in for Lewis Brown but I would be more confident having him in the 9 and either Cullen or Hastings to come off the bench...

I don't think Cullen has the defence to handle starting at hooker and I will be blown away if he used from the opening whistle. I pretty much feel the same about Hastings; I don't doubt his ability in attack, but I question his credentials in defence.

My early tip is Brown to start at 9, Cullen off the bench and Hastings back to NSW Cup.

Playing halves in NSW Cup or 10 minutes off the bench at hooker in FG is completely different to playing the opening exchanges of a FG match in the toughest defensive position on the field. The likes of Vaughan and Frizell will have a field day if either Cullen or Hastings starts.

All these issues pale into insignificance when compared to the burning Kelly dilemma.
