They pretty much asked the predicable questions so you get predictable answers.
Baz holds two media conferences and says the same thing twice.
Nothing.
One thing I found interesting was his response to relocation.
His answer was a strong no.
He loves the beaches and the area and was very much against a move to Perth.
But in my opinion they got the answers their questions deserved.

For once it pays off that DCE speaks very carefully with the media. He did quite well, was reasonably upbeat about Manly's prospects and seemed quite relaxed actually.

He did when he signed the new deal.
Whether it's still in place I'm not sure.

For all his bluster about how strong the playing group is, you’d think we were leading the comp.

Daly is very well spoken and a great player but I don’t think he is a leader.

Jake is a leader and as a leader would physically drag players with him and I reckon players would bleed for him which I don’t think they would do for Daly.

If you look at the great captains the players ‘lift’ around them and don’t want to let the team down. I don’t get that feeling with DCE.

I get the same feeling with Barrett. Players apparently love him and he’s great for the halves but he just can’t instil that Manly ‘siege’ culture in the players and neither can DCE.

Also saw a bloke in the Qld 7 jersey turn in a best on ground performance in game 3 this year.

But yeah.....all in the past.
