The past 2 years he's had to play half and 5/8 and tackle like a forward. Even though our team's defence was diabolical this year our FA would have been a lot worse without DCE. He saved plenty of tries this year.

DCE’s physical toughness is often overlooked. Even when his attack is off (and it was at times this year), he rarely shirks his defensive work and puts in a lot of effort plays like leading the kick chase. It’s for these reasons why I think he is a better half than Johnson as I don’t consider Johnson’s attack to be materially better than DCE’s, if at all (both are great to watch when at their best).
