DES Rips into Gallop

I would of rather our CEO come out with it rather than the coach. Des doesn't need any mess following on from it which may impact his focus as coach. Good on him for doing so though.

Rabbits is ripping into Des and Manly on MMM. Totally ripping in.

Rabbits should have been given the flick 10 years ago.  Worst commentator on TV.  Bring back the Moose.  Go Dessie.

Directive from Gallop to Refs, Penalise them

I can see that happening

Yeah.. that happens and you wanna talk about fixing games?? Refs and the CEO.. with an 'independent commission' coming in?

I bet hed really like to give Gallop a spear tackle or good ole stiff arm across the face.Im sure that would be better than words anyday.

Er ... aren't you the person who is known for constantly complaining about Manly's coaching set-up/selections/playing style/ everything else? Or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?

Gallop hit back last night: "Des is seriously confused about what the court found in the Brett Stewart case. The court did not find that Brett was not intoxicated.

"Des may need a reminder that Carney had already been suspended for a year and was caught having inadvertently driven his car early last Saturday morning while still with alcohol in his system. It is a very different situation."

Gallop still doesn't see that they were both the faces of the game at the time of each incident even though Brett didn't break the law but was penalized and Carney did break the law but got off...Gallop your a fool and start admitting you messed up so we can all get on with the season.

A lawyer takes indefensible positions, argues the unarguable, and never admits error in their argument, no matter how compelling the evidence against them.

A leader looks for balance and truth, openly exploring all evidence, always ready to admit error and redirect their efforts.

Guess what role fits Gallop?

Guess what role doesn't?

Tell him that Warren Ryan calls a game better then him even Andy Raymond does

Warren Ryan?  Are you serious.  You do realise he often falls asleep in commentary box.

But if that was the case then the whole team should have been suspended. If that's the case, why didn't Watmough also get suspended. No, the actions of the NRL, as much as they don't like to admit it due to legal reasons, was based off the fact that the allegations of sexual assault came out. They jumped on the fact that he was intoxicated. What if in the courts he hadn't been found intoxicated? Also, Benji has been found to have possibly attacked someone. If he was drunk, does he get 4 weeks as he was drunk and caused a crime? Or is that different because he is one of the golden children?

NB: Golden Children: Thurston, Lockyer, Marshall, Slater, Smith
