there were some extremely dodgy calls against the fairy tale knights in round 1 that lost us the game.

3 games where we were the better team but got dudded big time puts us on 9 wins and still missing the 8 but the confidence thing would have been a bigger factor.

I’m part of the #SackBarrett crew, one win doesn’t make a winter! Having said that it was a much better effort today by the team not to drop their bundle when they went behind by 6 with 20 minutes to go.

Unless you are part of the inner sanctum how do you know he is "bad"?
If you judge his results then it's an understandable conclusion. But the players seem to like and respect him.
How much of this poor form comes down to the players?
We certainly seem mental fragile. Conceding that try right on half-time is a perfect example of not muscling up in critical times.
Twenty is a coach; he is not a psychologist. I doubt the club has one.
But apart from Melbourne who almost always seem mentally strong, every other club this season has had their slumps.
We are three players short of being a top team.
1. We need another workhorse forward, like Jake. We have more than enough forward grunt but can't sustain defence
2. We need a quality winger, one with pace and skill like Cotric or Rapana
3. We need a quality centre. Suli is not a centre but could still transform into a useful forward.
Keep Walker at 5/8, just strengthen our outside backs.

I don't know if we should sack Trent or not but if we do who would replace him.
There are not many coaches available, especially with our budget.

I would rather come 13-15 for a few years and not get the spoon than come 9-12 for a couple of years with a spoon this year. I am proud we have never received one in over 70 years in the competition.

We don't have the management and funds to get back into the top 4 within the next 5 years.
