Do we have another Goal Kicker?

It is embarrassing. Yes we won, but lets not cover up reality. We need a kicker. Walker is not it! We were very very lucky to win and jakes try was lucky. FACT

you make your own luck,yes they were a bit lucky but they played for 80 minutes,i think walker is TB's only 80 minute option unfortunately

We could also just get a kicking coach to refine and get Walker to kick more consistently...maybe?

Or get him to practise.

Invite that great and unassuming Manly man Alan Thompson down to training.

He could give one or two of our players an insight in how and when to pass the football.

Walker does not posses the quality's that make a good goalkicker. He has no composure and easily reacts.

I'd love to see someone else kicking, Dylan doesn't have the chops.

I agree on composure. But he does have a pretty good kicking action and does hit them cleanly. I actually think he will become a pretty good goal kicker if we persist with him.

i presume there is a process in place to work out who is the best kicker for team?

They would spend many sessions on sorting this out and Dylan has come up the winner of those who are gonna play first grade for 80 minutes each week.

If it's decided he isn't up to scratch I don't think I won't our second or third ranked kicker taking the shots.

Do we weaken the team to include a specialist kicker? Is there someone available to buy, maybe a winger?

Interesting but must be sorted.

Was watching a clip from 2011 (DCE's second match in first grade) and he was our first choice kicker. He kicked really well. Obviously he doesn't want the gig, otherwise he'd be our goal kicker.

Nice Simon.. was at that game. We were supposed to get smashed that day. One of T Rex's better games.

The only thing I remember from that game was Foz's big hits in defence.

One of dce's ex coaches said he used to practice for an hour after every training. So I dunno why he stopped in first grade. Too much on his plate?

Yes Matt Wright. Good goal kicker. Need to drop tafua tho and doesn't look like that will ever happen especially with some if his previous ordinary games

We did ok with Killer who probably didn't have a much better percentage. We haven't lost a game this year because of Walkers kicking yet either. Just saying.

It's had an influence though. The week before he missed two that could have led to a golden point scenario.

His three missed conversions vs Souths made it easier for them to get back into the game.

Just like Smith's missed goals last weekend made it much easier for Manly to almost bridge the gap.
