First Grader
S. Faniu is another one to watch. These guys have been in the Manly system since they were 14. Im sure the club see's them as the future. Gordon, Weekes, Koula etc.

100% done - but only made Illawarra NRL side 4 games or so....not sure he has kicked on but better backup than many we got and still youngApparently he is back next year
Would be the Patolo replacement in the NSW Cup side I would think?100% done - but only made Illawarra NRL side 4 games or so....not sure he has kicked on but better backup than many we got and still young
Solid points mate - I certainly only see on low coin a good moveWould be the Patolo replacement in the NSW Cup side I would think?
Not opposed to him returning whatsoever. Sometimes a return to home pastures helps these guys out. Kioa benefited, and I hope Feledy does too.
You were on the money with all of those players Simon, maybe with exception of GordyS. Faniu is another one to watch. These guys have been in the Manly system since they were 14. Im sure the club see's them as the future. Gordon, Weekes, Koula etc.

Interesting, I rated him at the lower end but all in the eye of the beholder.I rated this bloke the best of that group of the Fainu generation ... surprised he hasn't kicked on .... if he does, he is a keeper ... best wishes for him.
Yeah he is nothing.Interesting, I rated him at the lower end but all in the eye of the beholder.
There's worse train and trials out there. The issue is people saw his surname and watched him in the trials a couple of years ago and assumed he was highly rated but he's never been tipped as anything special. He played off the bench in the GIO Cup for his high school. It's not like he's failed to live up to his potential because he was never tipped for great things.I have no idea on his potential and will only say that there are a number of late blooming players (especially in the forwards) - for the sake of a train and trial what is the harm?
He did make a few good carries in a televised pre-season trial, but that's pretty much all I can remember of his time with us. The fact he's struggled to crack first grade at the Dragons since then probably shows where he's at.It's not like he's failed to live up to his potential because he was never tipped for great things.
If pre season form was anything we would have another Johns immortal on the booksThere's worse train and trials out there.
