Totally agree...as someone else on here said previously, we really couldn't afford both of them anyway. I'd like to of kept DCE but the positive is more dollars for the forwards.

I was a definite no to Hodkinson as I am concerned about how much more can poor old Trent's knees take. He can barely run now. However he is a great bloke and solid player who could lead the team around the park and take the pressure off Elgey as he develops as long as his body can hold on for two more years.

We have been chasing Elgey for months now.
That will do me if we sign Hodkinson. The guy cannot run and only plays with stem cell injections in his knee every offseason. Might as well sign Douglas Bader.

Douglas Bader was a machine, and despite being dead would be a far better option than Hodko.
If memory serves me correct, he was on track for selection for England in rugby before the plane crash.

I remember quite a few years ago having dinner at my mates house. His old man (who was a pom) was there. He knew Bader personally. We were all pretty pissed and when I left that night I was convinced Baders nickname was Old Ten Legs, which was pretty hard to figure out. I put it down to the pommy accent, later I read his autobiography and realised my mistake.
