They also just resurfaced the track - I know because my daughter had her sports carnival there.

Now - what the **** is with all the complaining about the facilities. Indoor pool, newish gym, good fields, indoor courts... What more do these guys need..? I may be biased towards Narrabeen but seriously - can't the media and everyone else quit with this bull**** about our facilities! What makes any other teams facilities better? Oh - the demountables..? Who ****ing cares where some staff member has an office. The actual players have decent facilities in a very nice location.

You are also not mentioning it is a stone throw from Narrabeen Lagoon/Beach and it is more pleasant doing pre season with a sea breeze than 45 degrees out at the Riff

I don't think it is about the facilities, that is all media speak and speculation.

I'm pretty sure the fact that we don't have a recruitment manager, or director of football, as every other club has, would be front and centre in this ****fight.

Agreed, and the only people who are complaining about them is the media and people who think that is what Trent is complaining about (which he isn't).

I had to do an epic eye-roll and lol when one news site did the big wide shot of the demountable....then a dramatic zoom in and close up of a piece of timber that was missing off the facia of one part of the verandah. Like...fmd....smh...srsly!

That's the Panthers "state of the art" facility that is apparently so mind blowing. Seriously what the ****? One field..? No pool..? 16 different angles of the gym and field! ****-house.

I also have no idea what Gorman wants to blow 22M on. Everything is already there. OK, spend a million to build a permanent office complex then fix the damn stadium with the rest of that money!

I got the feeling that this money might be utilised to build it into a new stand/facilities at Brookie?

That way, they can use the funds allocated to the upgrade of Brookie in combination with this "Centre of excellence" money to create a bigger pool of money for the grandstand refurb.

Unless my understanding is wrong and the funds for both are one in the same!

So Manly "s 2018 season campaign and ability to attract or re sign players was affected or seriously inhibited by not having a couple of officially appointed club officials[ even though there were no doubt some stand ins ] and this claimed lack of other resources . Give me a break .

I'm guilty as charged I heard on fox that our training facilities at Narrabeen were out of date and made the stupid mistake of believing them.I thought we had everything we needed they just said it like it was a fact. I fell for it at the time so I apologise for following the pack
.I just wish the we could get the facilities at the ground sorted, I been in and out of hospital for the last four years and I suffer from fibromyalgia and can't stand for long so I can't attend games anymore ( I can't stand on the line for the toilets for long) .

I've been a Manly fanatic for over 45 years and it gets frustrating hearing we're going to fix Brookie year after year, I miss going to the games I just wish they could sort it sooner rather than later I want to be able to be at a game or two before the final whistle goes for me.

Anyway Let's hope we can win our last three games and stick it up them....

Yes he does and I know your only joking and we couldn't afford him anyway.... he has easier things to do than work his guts out trying to fix our mess. Hasler is a good coach I just don't like his back ended contracts, Tooves would be good to have around but not as head coach straight away he still needs to learn a little more so an assistant coach for a few years would be good.
Because of our financial mess, our out dated Football ground and our out dated Training facilities we can't be too picky with the coach .. so we need someone who will be thrifty and rebuild the club trying to use as much from our juniors as possible.
Any ideas ?.....
