Well said mate . Ive always been an optimist when it comes to manly, beat anyone anyday and nothings changed . I remember about 2009 we were playing the roosters and were $ 5.60 to beat them , they were at $ 1.16 and we smoked them . I won heaps that day , so hard to forget. Never write off the mighty seaeagles.

Yep, round 2 in 2011 IIRC. Roosters were highly fancied but we turned up. Kieran Foran got huge wraps for his performance in that game.

The odds were based of grand finalists vs 8th who got pumped in 2010 by the dragons

We had a second rookie half which made them the youngest pairing since sterlo and whoever, presumably to win a comp

It was a good effort by the Manly team and against the odds to beat the roosters in that early 2011 game . Same match that Foran did that big hit on Mitchel Peace . T Rex also started his good and capable 2 nd row form for Manly in that match also . So easy to forget the better times for some former Manly players in past seasons for the Manly club . Also recall sore loser Rooster"s coach Brian Smith"s comments after the match.
