I also liked the fact it was his try that knocked them out of the nines. Bennett let him go as Andrew McCullough had the hooking position pretty much sown up. Personally I think Parcell has more upside than McCullough.....mind you, he also let Jake Granville go.
You can't keep them all unfortunately...look at us, we had to let Hasson go
 
Gee the way you guys are talking up young Matty has got me real excited to watch the kid play, I haven't seen anything but the nines where I thought he looked sharp and like he had the natural ability to sniff out a try the way he anticipated kicks etc.

My only concern is size? Doesn't look like he's quite filled out yet. How will he fair with Graham, Tolman, Kasiano, Klemmer and the rest of the Hills Have Eyes running at him? Will this impact how long he plays early in his NRL career? How does his D shape up? We know Api can D up pretty good - will this be the reason we interchange between the two early on?

Got a real itching for round 1 to come around now though.
