Galvin

Umm kinda think Kikau, Crichton, Burton would be close if not over a million!!! We have DCE & Turbo…..that’s it. Olakau’atu on $750k.
If you trust what has been said, none of those 3 are on or over a million,so my point stands. The facts are,Manly are not getting the value out of their highest paid players like the Dogs are and Manly are not getting the same value out of their equivalent King and Mann valued players

I do believe what’s said. You honestly think Crichton is on a modest salary? Burton also, Kikau also?

I never said they’re on a modest salary,I said they weren’t on a million or more
Kikau and Crichton on a reported just over $800K.Burton is on a reported $750K.Whether that’s the truth or not,is anyone’s guess, but those are the figures you can freely google to find out

Yes, they recruited smartly by picking up players from the salary cap pressured panthers who were proven winners. Targeted recruitment coupled with a number of journey men and no names who are well coached with a system/pattern of play that works. It’s the basic blueprint to turn any club around, and reminds me of us circa 2004/07. A lot to like imho.

The Bulldogs are smart operators, but also cashed up from their leagues club. I'm guessing they'd be paying unders for those players but topping them up with very lucrative third party sponsors.

You can’t have followed Manly in 1995 to give this sort of appraisal of Canterbury.

Honestly there is a reason to hate every club

For me it was the whole “need not bought “ era (plus 95).

All that said I agree with the NRL media beat up. If you read what Gus has said he is clearly a long term player for them, not an immediate one.

For me as good as the dogs have been going much like the semi against us they lacked the quality to put high quality teams away in the games that matter so had to try something else - galvin will get them closer.

As for the whole 7 debate the storm seem to go okay having essentially full backs at 1, 6 & 7….something Gus loves

As much **** as I've copped over the years from Manly tragics and mates about the Dogs,if Manly were to win the comp id be genuinely happy for them and their fans,i know a few of the players on a personal level and they are great blokes, even when im Doggies merch its just football at the end of the day, there's good and bad fans any anti social behaviour id be first one to call it out

How do you feel about Sexton, who’s been a champion for the Bulldogs at 7 & one reason they are near the top of the premiership, dumped to the extended bench today in favour of Galvin who’s achieved SFA? What a stab in the back for Sexton. He must be feeling like $hit! Let’s see how the supposed ‘wonder kid’ goes. Can’t see what all the hype is about to be honest. Good luck to the Dogs but I can see the ar$e falling out in their hopes of winning anything this year.

Sorry TJ55. I have no real beef with the Dogs however would love to see that smug prick Gus Gould with egg on his face.

Are you looking at any stats or analysing the weaknesses Ciraldo is looking at, or just making comments based on how high the Dogs are in the middle of the season.
No team wins a comp in June.

Ciraldo is a very smart coach, yet all the arm chair critics judge him on a very short sighted view of Galvin??

The Dogs are the best defensive team in the comp.
The Dogs are the 9th best attacking team in the comp.
Sexton while good, is well behind in every statistic vs the halfbacks playing for Melbourne, Canberra and Warriors.

The Dogs cannot win the grand final with Sexton as halfback, as his attack and try assists etc are not in the top 5 halves.

Ciraldo bought Galvin to bolster their attack and give them a fighting chance to win the comp.

I wish Seibold was as creative, smart and as hard working as Ciraldo is - our team would be top 3.

Ok so can you tell me what Galvin will do for the Dogs attack that Sexton hasn’t? What did he do for the Tigers attack? You think they’ll win the grand final with Galvin? I highly doubt it.

My feelings are very similar, its a shame he got shafted took him a while to find his feet and he wanted to stay at the club which makes it tough because you want blokes (and women) to be proud to wearing the clubs colours, i dunno i dont know if Gus has royally ****ed up or just to trust him, i do know one thing its made me less confident. As long as the Storm,Penrith or Donkeys dont win ill back whoever

Argue with coach Ciraldo, not me as you think you know better.
