Anyone notice NAS 'warm up' by coincidentally sprinting up next to Garrick just as he was moving into kick a sideline conversion? Gaz should have been given another shot!

I saw that (I think) and I also saw a trainer run along the sideline next to/ behind Rubes twice (I believe).

Seems to be a storm tactic to run around the kicker to put them off.

like the ole "I'm not touching you...not touching you" games when people were like, 5.

Trouble is, Lehi is not a winger, not fast enough or big enough, nor centre, FB is basically his only position.

I thought he was great as a winger in all his previous games before Seibs made this switch.

We don't need solid fullback we need an attacking fullback that can turn defense into attack and put the opposition in doubt. Sorry but Lehi isn't that and Tom is past it. Our best fullback option is somehow now wearing green.

Our best fullback right now is playing Center…..the one next to Turbo. Last game playing fb 300m plus, lots of post contact, tackle breaks…..

Unfortunately our centre options are poor. Neither Turbo or Garrick are good defensive centres. Perhaps Taulau should be used.

We have not had a decent centre pairing for many years. Matai and Lyon, being our last.

Admirable player, attitude, just professional and conscientious. Wish we had more like him. Ok not the biggest guy, but there's been plenty of small captains in RL.. Tooves, Turvey etc.

I doubt it's being scared, more likely just the big difference defending at centre compared with pretty much his whole career at FB. Maybe just needed more specialist practice at the role. But for sure his efforts on their full back and later on Xerri were not his finest moments.

The last time Koula played fullback we lost 20-40 to the Sharks at Brookvale in Round 27, 2024.

And he only ran for 177 metres, not 300+

Oh only 177m….the games agains Knights & Titans before or after were 270m & 300m plus games this year not 2024! Both Turbo & Lehi were not playing!

Just listen yourself ... Knights and Titans. Like they're the gold standard for defences.....

Usually against good defensive teams, Koula's running from fullback has been largely negated. Against poor ones he often has a field day like he did playing fullback in the last two games of 2023 when we played the last and 2nd last placed Tigers and Bulldogs. Two teams who had already checked out of their seasons a few weeks before we played them.

Get back to me when he runs 300+ against teams that can actually defend like yesterday's Dogs or Melbourne, Penrith, Canberra....

I guess Lehi & Turbo run 300+ everytime when at fullback eh? Your opinion yes…. I feel better when either Koula or Garrick are out the back just my opinion.
