He retired him in that Test in NZ, I always love watching that tackle.

Did the Dragons know all along that he would only be there 2 years but announced a 4 year contract because they knew the NRL wouldn't accept a player of his status on such a low contract? IMO they have rorted the cap in 2010 if he doesn't see out the four years, or the contracted amount doesn't come off their salary cap for 2012 and 2013.

To my understanding the final two years of his contract do not count towards the Dragons cap, they do retain his rights though so should he choose to re-enter the league he would still be under contract, picking up from where he left off.

May be/Probably wrong, but that's what I have in my head.
