Milford played well enough to hold his position but I thought he showed nothing outside of a running game. Even at the Broncos, his style of play is a little selfish which was Thurston's biggest criticism of DCE. At least Cherry has a passing and a kicking game...

yeah didn't think the toads were terrible. They held the ball well and didn't give away penalties so not the easy leg ups a terrible team would give.

I'm just eagerly awaiting the time when they all have to choke on their own sht and pick DCE as their halfback when Cronk and Thurston are gone.

Love all the differing opinions on here and can certainly try and see another point of view different to mine at times.

But Milford was well below par last night, irrespective of the QLD forward pack. He made one partially decent tackle and one partially decent run across field. His defence was not great and Crooked Nose Cronk and Scam Smith did the majority of kicking, Milford added nothing. He looked like a young kid hiding behind his big brothers. He is not ready for origin and I don't know if he ever will be. He is average at best and the only reason he gets a look in is because the media and the QLD old boys club talk him up no end.

He is not a half that can take control of a game and his knowledge of the game is light years behind say Chez's.

Milford is not the best option for number six after Thurston, end of story.
