Heard Zorba on the radio this morning and he said Gift was in too much pain to play cards on Tuesday night, therefore was no chance to play Origin. Ricky can pick him but he wont be there.
This I will be doing something I have never done today, I'll be supporting the stormbones said:. Compared to the Bulldogs I love the Melbourne Storm.
Did the fat fool mention anything about Brett.the mauler said:Heard Zorba on the radio this morning and he said Gift was in too much pain to play cards on Tuesday night, therefore was no chance to play Origin. Ricky can pick him but he wont be there.

Is Tony Williams, after coming back from around 3 months lay-off (ok, 15 odd minutes in one SOO game) the player to do the job though?
My team this week would be:-
01. Brett Stewart
02. Jorge Taufua
03. Steve Matai
04. Jamie Lyon
05. Regan Haika
06. Kieran Foran
07. Daly Cherry-Evans
08. Jason King
09. Matt Ballin
10. Brent Kite
11. Anthony Watmough
12. Joe Galuvao
13. Jamie Buhrer
14. Liam Foran
15. George Rose
16. Vic Mauro
17. Daniel Harrison

Let's see how much is true. First I have heard about Williams definately playing

Ryan said:Forget Tony Williams. Let him do whatever he wants. Give James Cunningham a run, or let Mauro play. Hell, I'd rather Tim Robinson.
We could possibly have Whare, Lussick, T Williams all on the field at the same time - Yuck !

Talk about sour grapes. I'm just as upset as everyone that these guys are leaving, but I still wouldn't mind winning the comp again this year. These guys will certainly help us do that, especially Trex.
Ok, a bit of sour grapes on my behalf I admit, but I'm also considering our medium to longer term prospects - especially the chemistry our young halves have with the rest of the playing group.
If Foran and DCE can start building a foundation with our next wave of forwards, it will bare fruit for us down the track.
There's a lot to be said of chemistry. There's a lot to be said of "one common goal".
I really think Tooves needs to blood Cunningham and others for many reasons.
bones said:I won't be cheering for the bulldog. Lussick and Whare yeah, but not anyone who signs with that pathetic corrupt joke of a club.
I completely agree. Tony Williams knew his exodus to The Bulldogs (with everything that was happening at hand) would be a slap in the face for our club, but it meant naught in the end.
Then again, unlike yourself, I feel that towards "all" players that want to leave. Just an opinion, that's just how I feel. I just instantly lose any interest in them whatsoever.
For mine, Tony Williams could train the rest of the year in his own backyard, never lace a boot for us again, and I wouldn't care, even IF we were losing.

So, you're prepared to not play players, and give up what is an excellent chance at becoming premiers again, just to blood players with a view to the future?
Let me ask you this - if a player like, say Justin Hodges came out and said he had signed for Manly from next season, would he suddenly become this great awesome player in your eyes? Or would he still be the wanker he is until he plays in the Maroon and White?
