How come when I go into a thread that I know that I have been into before, such as the Dallycherrygraph, if I have not been into it for a period of time it does not take me to the next new post, it takes me all the way back to the beginning of the thread?

The knowing you have read it function clears after a while it's just because of storage that it doesn't retain that knowledge forever
