I've never seen anyone more relaxed running out, smiles and cracking jokes. The run down the middle was awe inspiring to watch, we finally got our Manase Fainu replacement.

As I’ve said on a other thread , I asked my last remaining insider ( used to have many ) and the answer was “ definitely top 30”.

Think they have until kick off to confirm , so looks like he’s in and someone’s out.

Ive been watching this kid for a couple of years and knew he was going to make a difference. If you watched him in the junior games he was very heavily involved with a lot of the organising on the field and was always a threat. Being the captain he was a big talker on the field and held in high regard.

Genuine eyes up footy player and will help not only our forwards get over the advantage line by bringing them onto the ball and attracting defenders but also knows when to go open side, or blind side, go himself or use a longer ball.

Im sure he will develop a good combination with DCE, Shuster and Turbo

Wow. Hope they do something to get him into the top 30 asap. He needs to be selected round one. I am sure the coaching staff would also share the same view.

Yeah dunno , but I’d say one will be coming out , and I’m guessing that’s Boyle as I can’t see him playing any games ( injuries aside ).

I dont think it's panic stations if Gordie remains on a development. He has looked great but its early. No harm in him having a stint at Blacktown.

And if Croker gets injured we would likely get an exemption anyway

It's obvious that Gordon is a better dummy half than Croker. A 'good' dilemma for the coaching staff 🙂

Gordan has to be in the 17 when available to play for us this year.

Yes he is young but this year he has to develop in first grade.

I don't put too much pressure on him in 2023 but with a year of first grade under his belt 2024 could be anything.

I have been at both trials live he is ready to learn in first grade in 2023.

Genuine number 9 we have right here.

Honestly I’d be punting someone to get him into the 30. Maybe just let Parra take Morgan?

Anyway by seasons end he’ll be our permanent 9..

I think Manase was better in attack... not sure about defense..but that ship has passed and I am liking what I see in Gordon
