Oh and may I add, over there among the toilet paper journalists at The Roar, they are standing high and mighty behind “the rules are the rules” when it comes to the Manly decision.

So I have one more little thing on my NRL Wishlist this year:

Please oh please let the grand final be decided on the same kind of technical rubbish our game was decided on, and better still, may it be the NRL team they support that gets dogged.

I just want the pleasure of sauntering over there again and saying “oh well, the rules are the rules. This is after all what you wanted!.

With the (wrong sort of) noise being made about the Rorters roster right now I'm expecting the Storm to get a considerable leg up this week. The NRL will not want to risk another year that never was.
