I have to agree with the original post.

What the hell would we want with that overpriced lump ? What sort of message would that send to Jake and the other up and comers ?

If the club are hell bent on making a quick fix signing, I'd be going with Mason. He'd be cheap and is only looking for one more year. But I think Jake's ready. It was only the injury that prevented a call up this year.

And we've got Luaki and Ligi as well. Why the hell did we get these guys in if they're never going to be given a shot ?

Townsville on the other hand is only 1,450km from the Gold Coast.
