The biggest hit I ever took was from Kerry Bousted. I was about 15 and he was living near me when he played for manly. A bunch of us used to play touch after school, which alwAys ended up tackle after about 10 mins. We were unable to tackle Bowie because he danced around us. At one point he got me low as I passed the ball, and I was heavily winded.
Not too surprised to read that Shoe.
He shortened up Terry Fahey in an interstate game before he played in Sydney.
Not many players could say that.
