Good post. Individual responses vary, but losing clearly affects some more than others. I played in the Penrith juniors years ago, and most of the grooming is in the hands of the parents. I will never forget watching one of our star players being bullied by his old man after he blamed him for a loss. It’s good to raise competitive kids in sport, but the balance is crucial to the outcome. Most of the keyboard warriors who criticise players on social media are Neville nobodies who are not equipped to comment. Great to see you have spent time coaching juniors and contributing to development of young kids
