Hayne to Eels

Slightly off topic ... but I need a ruling from some of you younger, more enlightened types ... given the yes vote (congrats) will it still be ok for me to sing my favourite song ...

Parra take it up the butt
Doodah .. Doodah
Parra take it up ..... etc etc
Sing it all day Woodsie

From Sporting News:

It now appears the reports were on the money, with Hayne expected to join the Eels on around $250,00 a season.

What the ****ing ****? That CANNOT be registered. You can't go from a million a year with an option IN YOUR FAVOUR to 250K and for everyone to be like "nah that's cool" no matter how **** you were whilst earning that 1M.

proves the corruption of the NRL commission under greenturd

The Club could get insurance to cover this.
I don't understand why it's such an issue in Oz.
All the major world sports carry insurance on player contracts @
We would still have to outlay the dollars first anyway which would be a risk , then wait for insurance if a career ending injury finished him .

What's the premium like on insuring a knee that's already blown out twice? And that just covers his salary which would still be in our cap as you only get dispensation if it's not a pre-existing injury or you're Parramatta.

This can't be allowed. I thought we got denied something like this a few years ago. Nrl stating that the player was undervalued or some crap like that.

Have the Eels lost anyone? It seems that for a team that only recently got caught systematically cheating the cap for 6 years, they seem to have more room to sign players than us.

If true that’s not only as funny as all **** it’s absolutely ****ing outrageous!

This sport is losing fans fast and that sort of crap will turn more off.

If you don’t think Toggy is doing deals to get Parra a GF berth then you are on another planet.

Salary Cap, WHAT ****ING SALARY CAP!!
