I'm toying with the idea of either a van or a winnebago. Don't suppose you can go too bush in a winnebago. I think the final hurrah is starting to approach... Went out to Penrith on the weekend looking. For about 40K less I can get a brand new specked up Defender and a nice van.....

How about a fitted out coach. You can tow a small, cheap 4x4 with a tinny on top if you are off-road and/or fishing inclined. I did it for 4 years before I moved OS...it was fantastic.
