Some of our senior players acting like brats
Stuffing our recruitment and retention
Our owners and decision makers
Signing a burgess and only getting to two brookvale games and getting touched up by sides I hate
And souffs
Anyway, this week I was fortunate enough to be invited to a ceremony and presentation to recognise some champions of our society that have been volunteers
The guests and speakers ranged from political ministers,entertainers and a number of celebrities including sports people from racing league women's basket ball and cricket and media identities
One such group standing together included loz daily who spoke like a champ,mimichello who was superb and some other identities that I wanted to meet and say hello to
To a man,they all said g'day and put out their hands to shake
Then it happened...out of the blue came a hand belonging to green turd trying to get in on the act
Instinct took over and without thinking I removed my hand and said you have to be kidding and walked away
Like I said .. I am not normally a rude man but stuff me it's been a long year
