I have a love hate relationship with finals footy

I used to be a great fan of cricket, but I don't know something happened and I can take it or leave it now....once upon a time I'd never miss a one dayer, sit there glued to it all afternoon and into the night.

I crave my footy in the summer and can see only one way out of it.

We start a new comp, it's called the Antarctica League...bugger the NSW and Queensland Cup send them south for summer and play a 20 week comp beamed live from Mawson base.

The ratings would go through the roof.

I suggest this venue as it's way way to hot to play footy in the summer so send them somewhere cooler, and you ca';t get a lot cooler than the south pole!!

I know let's call it the Optus South Pole Cup!!

Just imagine 46 weeks of footy a year....aah heaven!

I love the cricket, but not as much as I use to.

I followed the nfl closely for a couple of years maybe I will get into that again, but the Houston Oilers are no more and Warren Moon is gone, no Joe Montana or John Elway.
