Injury update from triplem

I was in that corner where it occurred. Didn't look good.

The scum are the dirty dogs here. understand they were trying to stop the try, but quinn agrevatted it by forcing wolfmans left arm in angles that double jointed freaks would be proud if, while slater and a few other players had a good hold of his upper body.

the only reason the storm got off slowly was after wolfman was clearly hurt.

Get well Wolfman. Snake will be back. Hope Hoppa has recovered soon too

I've done my C5. It took around 5+ years to even settle down then still have to be careful after decades. I know every case can be different but good luck Wolfie and at least he does have his media talents to fall back on. I have loved what he has given us and hopefully he can be ok. I was harsh on the Storm tackle last night but I thought they had damaged his shoulder.

now I'm not stirring but have to go on record with Wolfie's neck damage in well done to Storm players for recognising the danger! Could have ben much worse if someone would have pushed him off etc. His family would be thankful

Probably the only decent thing that I have ever seen Slater do but all in all, I still and will always consider him to be a grub both on and off of the field.

It's got nothing to do with the Wookie being injury prone. When some disgusting grub like Slater gets underneath a player & cranks his neck like that it won't matter if you're made of steel.

Good news about Brett, we'll need him for the finals, especially with the cloud over Hoppa.

I really hope that we get Melbourne again in the finals. Seeing those scumbags get heartbroken again would only be topped by some legend ending Slater's career.

F em all.

INJURIES UPDATE FROM @manlyseaeagles: Wolf, fracture 6th vertebra, out for season. Brett, scans on knee, not expected to be serious. Lussick, 4 stitches in lip #gomanly

The poor bastard will need to be operated on by a Neurosurgeon and will probably need to be fitted with a halo, including bolts into his forehead to prevent him from moving his neck for a couple of months until all is fused and mended. Not pretty or fun.

I vote for a lifetime ban for Matabele for the comment about Wolfman.
Wolfie could have died on the field last night.
To say he's a liability is uncouth, uncalled for, totally unclassy and basically un Manly. And to use Wolfie's very serious injury to unleash a smart arse comment here really deserves Matabele to be banned.
I for one will not be sucked in again on this forum by Mata's evil and nasty comments.

of course you will Baz.

Who is the fool? the one who throws the bait out, or the one who says he knows its bait, and bites anyway?

You know what he is trying to do and you jumped on it anyway.

and anyway to a degree he is right, if Wolfy had torn his hamstring you would be getting so worked up, and they are both long term injuries.

Terrible news for the Wolfman. It's almost like he used up all his footballing luck in his first year, because he hasn't been able to catch a break since.

I also think he may retire after this. You couldn't blame the bloke considering his horrible luck on the field and the fact he seems to be doing pretty well off the field.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!!

You're as big of a tool as Mata is. Fair dinkum.

Wolfman's reputation as a liability continues to grow.

I can't see how you can be seen to be fit to moderate this site when you post things like this?

Exactly

Your a low life grub - the bloke brakes his neck playing for us in an epic game and your on his case.
Yes apologies, it was very ungenerous of me. I like Wolfman and would like to see him get a long, uninjured run.

Looks like good news on Jason King.

INJURED Manly captain Jason King is clinging to hope he can complete a miraculous recovery and return to the field this season.

King has been training consistently and has maintained his playing weight in a bid to lead Manly to grand final glory in October.

The 30-year-old prop tore his pectoral muscle in Manly's round 22 win over the Roosters and initial medical advice suggested he would be out for the rest of the season.

But the NSW State of Origin forward believes there is a slim chance he could be back to play in the grand final on October 2 at ANZ Stadium should his Sea Eagles make it.

However, his injury needs to keep improving at its present rate. "Speaking to the doctors, the specialists and the physios I'll be playing in March next year, but I guess you always hold out hope," King said.
