Intrusive adverts on mobile site

I have Mcafee on my Android and this is the first anti-ad that I've seen in 3 years.
Must be a new batch of hackers

Sounds like it's an issue tied to chrome. My guess is we will see the antivirus sites start up with it soon

Android/Chrome did some update and apparently there are more layers of settings to restrict PUSH ads.

Android - Settings/ Accounts&Sync/ Google/ Personal Info&Privacy/ Ads Settings/
Scroll down to Manage AD Settings - turn them all OFF (about 3 levels)

If you clear all of your history it should go away

Lots of examples of this particularly on android devices and windows based PC's

AVG seems to remove it but maybe something else like a wallpaper or cached cookie causing it
