We all know what Jamal brings with the boot but I’ve been watching him like a hawk in defence and that’s a very underrated part of his game. He was outstanding in defence last night and did a really good job of controlling his edge. He slides better than Daly and shows a lot of urgency to get across the lead runner after he ‘checks’. He also made some nice legs tackles.

Twice he ran the ball on the last and showed good speed to get past the rushing pressure. The second time he did this, he threw a beautiful double cut out pass.

The more I’m seeing, the more I’m liking.

lol. As I too was watching him like a hawk (eagle?). I was thinking to myself, I wonder how many other Silvertailers are doing exactly the same thing right now? And were very happy with what transpired.

I do not agree with you making Heroes from Halves that miss match winning Field goal opportunities .

A field goal that goes straight between the posts guarantees you the winning game
A charge down field goal gives the other team an opportunity to win the game

The storm were creators of their own destiny and not the raiders
The storm charge down saved the field goal
The storm head high shot produced a goal kick right in front which lost the game

The moral of the missed field goal story
Nail ( kick the winning field goal ) the bustards before they nail you
Do NOT (Miss the shot ) and give the bustards an even break to break golden point and win the game
