Jamal Fogarty

Back on topic. Fogarty is probably the best we could have hoped for given contracts, $$'s etc. Yes DCE will be a loss and Fogarty is not a like for like swap however he would be in the top 5 half's at the moment. His game against Storm was excellent and he contributed in all facets, not just his excellent kicking game. IF, and it a big IF, we can pick up a FG standard 2nd rower and prop (Sipley rumored to be leaving) then next years team can improve on this years squad.

The goal kick in the pouring rain, add in the presure of it, this really stuck out for me.

Of course, Hynes! Thanks.

Also should have mentioned Zac Dockar-Clay.
He played Blacktown SeaEagles 2019 including 6 games as half and another 6 at 5/8, and currently a regular benchie dummy half for Chooks.
At age 30 he's finally made it, another example of how play-makers take time to develop to NRL standard.

... are you suggesting we should have paid Docker for 10 years until he cracked a bench spot?

Only issue there isn't any second rowers or props off contract that stand out. And I hope I'm wrong but I doubt we'd have the money for both, maybe one..maybe

I had Humphrey's in my Supercoach team ... so I watched every tackle, and every run, and every kick of every game ... hoping he would shine ....

The result ... 1 try .. 1 try assist ... 1 linebreak assist.

He is strong, kicks well, defends well, and is composed ... but as a halfback he has displayed the creativity of a mountain haggis.

Best suited to Hooker in IMO ...

Never heard of that experession but I must say it so funny !
The creativity of a mountain haggis

From what I have seen from Humpheys in his short NRL season this year
He has played dominant roles at lock , hooker and halfback
After coming back from injury he has kept his Number 7 spot ahead of the higher profile and priced English International Half back Dodd as well as other half contenders at Souths
So far , Humphreys looks like being exceptional Utility player
