Can someone please explain to me how the Bulldogs can afford the players that signed last year & the ones that they’ve signed for next year….,Taukeiaho, Taffe, Salmon, Crichton, Knight & now chasing Tino, Connor Watson, Luai. How is this possible? Salary Cap….what salary cap!!!!! FMD we sign Lodge on a train & trial & the NRL are looking into it!!!!

The NRL should be auditing the dogs after the hotel shares debacle and now all of these signings really need to be scrutinised carefully by the NRL. The salary cap is becoming a bad joke and this code must be the laughing stock of other professional codes in this country.

I immediately thought the same however if you look closer it may not as big a stretch as one would think. They don't have a DCE, Turbo, Jurbo wage situation. Probably only Kikau and Burton on silmilar. Then we have Aloiai, Garrick, Koula, Schuster all on decent money. They are cleaning out a heap of players including Thompson who was reported on being on $800 k per season. Have a look at their roster - it is not stellar.
