I share the same sentiments with you on that 2013 grand final try but if he produces match wining form and scores for us it would be hard not to cheer for him .Not sure I'll ever get over that memory of him diving to score that try a millimetre from the dead ball line in 2013 GF to seal the game. Be hard to cheer for him.
Good player , younger and cheaper maybe . Does any one know how much he wants ?Is Robert Jennings still unsigned at souths ?
Would Prefer him .
I agree but it its nice to have some type of back up if some of our guys dont aim up .Would rather one of our juniors or even Suli...by a long way.
I think he was on or wanted roughly $300K mateGood player , younger and cheaper maybe . Does any one know how much he wants ?
Yes as the default position is probably Parker. A no brainer for me.We could do a lot worse, especially if Walker isn’t available
I would literally take anyone over parker..Yes as the default position is probably Parker. A no brainer for me.
After releasing Kelly, and with Walker's immediate future up in the air, we're in (or might be in) pretty desperate need of an experienced centre. If Walks is unavailable the cupboard of experienced centres at Manly is Suli and Parker, or Jorge. Other than that its either weaken the back row by playing Thommo at centre, or weaken fullback to play Turbo there.
Des has no plans to move Turbo. And I highly doubt moving Thommo is on his mind.
Like him or not I'd take Michael Jennings right now, even if Walks is free to play. He ticks the boxes as a player. Experience, skills, still got good speed and has decent defence.
Agree with your fears mate but Jennings on 800k, is surreal. Even if the Eels pick up half of that, 400k is a hell of a lot for him and I would rather offer his brother from Souths that 400k.
I would hope Des has a plan in mind. Actually, i'm sure he has more than one.
I'm confident it will come out ok in the wash.

Rumour has it he wants the outdoor furniture AND the four burner BBQ! The hide of the man.😱Good player , younger and cheaper maybe . Does any one know how much he wants ?
Lafai and Aitken were their starting centres all last year so I doubt that situation is going to change. They have lost McDonald, Nightingale and Kurt Mann so outside back depth isn't great - Lomax most likley on wing. Their dilemma is how to use the Widdop / Dufty / Norman choices in the 1 and 6 roles.I’d like to know if Tim Lafai has one centre spot at Saints as that could mean Evan Aitken might be fighting for a spot. They keep talking up Zac Lomax as if he has one spot so if Aitken wants a spot, I’d love to have him. Unless they move Lomax to wing but they also have Dufty they could use there.
I think Aitken runs rings around Lafai and I’d have him and Lomax as Saints starting centres. Let’s hope McGregor is an idiot and goes for Lafai.
In saying that, I don’t think Walker will be convicted and may only serve a few weeks suspension. We may only need a backup until he’s available again.

In 2020Widdop is gone
Lomax is too slow for the wing, probably too slow for centre as wellLafai and Aitken were their starting centres all last year so I doubt that situation is going to change.
