It’s so clear that news outlets are struggling for content. The amount of times you see a headline which says “Outrage at [insert incident]”, only to read the article and the outrage is confined to one or two people who have tweeted “I am outraged”, is crazy....

The idea that a mug punter can be quoted from a tweet and have that as the basis of a story just does my head in.
