Poor Jorge, it wasn't his fault. Hopefully on the bus ride back to Sydney, they will put some of his highlights over the years on the bus VHS recorder and remember the good old days.

I agree. There was no valid reason for selecting Jorge. Des seems to have become blinkered in his approach.

There was a similar situation when he selected an out of form & unwell Harper to mark Talakai. There may have been a different result in that game if he'd selected Koula instead.

Manly play the storm again at Brookie again in a few weeks time. It would be good to let Jorge play in that game, so he gets the farewell, he truely deserves in front of the fans. The season will be well and truely over by then, so really nothing to loose?

Unfortunately our recruitment has left so many holes in the top 30 man squad, we were just looking at warm bodies.
