Kitey is way to slow getting up and playing the ball. You need fast forwards. Up quick means your dummy half can make easy yards or get the ball moving faster. Kite has been incredibly slow for about 3 years.

Kite has settled his family in Penrith now & was promised a job after retiring. Even IF we wanted him back it's not going to happen.

As highly that I think of Brent Kite as a player and person I don't think we'll ever see him playing for Manly again unless its a legends type game. Given his age (he turned 34 last Saturday) I wouldn't mind betting that once his current Penrith contract is up he'll either retire or will be given a 1 (2 at best) year extension and that will be it for his playing days.
