With his poor coaching record why would any club consider Daley?

Funny this place , 2 days ago everyone was up in arms about him coming.

Now , they are screaming from the rooftops because he declined the offer.

It’s hilarious really.

You can’t see that the two situations correlate? People were unhappy the club were even looking at Daley due to his ordinary track record as a coach.Granted,a few STers went off a bit early given the fact the exact role he may of been offered,was not disclosed.They are now upset with the club because even Laurie Daley has knocked them back.these opinions aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive?

Then stated “ we haven’t even sat down to discuss yet “ , just a casual statement.

Then , “ well it can’t work anyway as it doesn’t fit in with media / NSW commitments “.

Mean while ST goes off BECAUSE he’s being considered , and then goes off AGAIN because he knocked it back.

If you cannot see the hypocrisy in all this then I think you need to look again.

The anti Seibold members are so desperate to discredit him ( now he hasn’t been sacked ) that every single little thing happening is ALL because of him.

Now let me assure you I’m not pro Seibold , but I’m certainly not anti either and I don’t think every issue at the club all relates to him.

What I find hilarious about this place is people who are quite prepared to slag off the owner at every opportunity, but then get all judgemental about people who take exception to actions taken by the club that owner is in charge of. For example, Penn hired Seibold, but Penn is useless whilst Seibold is above criticism. The pro-Seibold crowd seem to have this blind faith in his abilities despite evidence to the contrary, and would rather blame Penn for everything that goes wrong. Did someone say “hypocrisy”?

The obvious answer is that Penn is indeed a large part of the problem, and that hiring Seibold is clear evidence of that.

I’m not saying the head coach is the only issue Manly has,but the past 10 years of coach signings have been horrendous.A rookie in Barrett who has gone on to be proven yet again that he’s not up to the top post,Des who was struggling for work after a poor final few yrs at the Dogs and now Seibold.

You keep mentioning there is a pro Seibold crowd on here. Who are these people because I have never read anyone say they are pro Seibold? Are you referring to those that don't blame Seibold for everything?

Is there anyone "pro Seibold" out there, out of interest?
