I would've happily kept him but I think $150k was the right price point. He's worth $500k if he has an injury free season but we haven't seen that.

He did provide our best go forward so we need to replace that. Acknowledge some of his deficiencies (key one being injured a lot of the time) but I thought we looked better when he was on the field.

lodge still hasn't been picked up. He lives on the Northern Beaches, and could still go back to Manly with cap in hand and ask if the 300k offer for 2 seasons is still on the table. Then again, the fire in the belly to prove yourself once again might not be there anymore.
