If @HK_Eagle and I are thinking of the same place, it was at Tallebudgera, on the gold coast.

It closed in 1990 so you just missed it.

I am very surprised Parra have gone down that route, I always looked at Gutherson as the equivalent of Turbo at Manly, a fan favourite and loyal club player to go on those terms would be a kick in the guts

Agree. It's almost as bad as the way we treated him at the very start of his career. But he really did give everything he had to that club, willing them over the line on so many occasions. All comes down to money and juggling the salary cap in the end.

We should not be surprised at all what the incompetent Eels people that run their club do

It has been 60 years since the have won a comp

They have the money , they have the juniors but they dont have competent people to take command and deliver
