You are right there Woodsie . There is nothing better than being there in our great 70s era live and capture the atmosphere that you dont get when you watch it on replays like some of us . The rest of us are still lucky to re live it all on film

I love the club, and love the changes being made; however, I actually didn’t think much of the video.

I’m glad they are making a real effort - they are clearly turning things around from a club engagement perspective, I just thought the video could have been way better. It’s like they wanted it to be emotional, but it fell short for me - maybe I’m on my own here.

The best part was Toovey darting away for a try.

Look you can never please everybody, it has never been done before from memory and significantly better than recent years.

Don’t forget they don’t have access to Spielberg or his production budget!!

I proudly wear my Manly gear when I go to the park and do my sprint cardio sessions . I get looks and remarks and I feel like a celebrity to be honest . Not many Manly Jumpers on this side of the bridge at all .
I am thinking of getting a Eagle tattood on my left peck and smile and flex at those anti Manly haters as I walk past by them .

Just seen the video.

It is a Great add, It just sums up Manly pride, club passion, I am so happy to see 2v running in for a try in there as well. Finally a club which can acknowlege the great man.

It's a tremendous piece of community engagement, and the marketing people on this should be congratulated.

Thinking back to last year, after watch that, I just have to shake my head in disbelief, and say Scotty Penn / Zorba / the entire 7 person Sea Eagles board, what the **** were U thinking?

The lack of respect shown by SeaEagles HQ in the last few years toward the Manly fan on the hill, the local community in general, past legends of this great club, the clubs history, it's culture etc. It was piss poor.

This add is so great, purely because you people have been so crap.

Look It's a great add. I just hope too see the Sea Eagles board practice what this Manly Forever clip preaches.

Great outlook to have as an out of Towner... it is a fantastic video... and as far as the born here bit is concerned, I take that as we will never be moving from the peninsular, regardless of what Beattie, and the papers try and tell you. Awesome, and particularly classy way for the club to respond to all their attempts at destabilisation and baseless conjecture.
