Waddel named at 2nd row for nsw cup, hopefully not a sign of things to come
Fast forward to November 2035...Please wake me up when it’s all over!
@Ralphie would love to hear your thoughts on why you disagree? This is very concerning for me.
One on one meeting great. However just 7 minutes and being handed a list of concerns.
A 7 minute meeting is ridiculous. Pure lip service.
I wonder if there was a time-keeper in these meetings with a stopwatch making sure that no meeting went over (or under) the seven minute mark.@Ralphie would love to hear your thoughts on why you disagree?
Do you think 7 minutes is an adequate amount of time to effectively express concerns, be able to take on a players views and put forward a strategy to both improve team and player outcomes?
Correct. Penn made the call on the rainbow outfits, then the union delegate rallied the troops and we had 7 out and then made Des front the media, then sacked him. Siebs took over and extended the delegates contract. Made for a movie this script.Newsflash: The reason Des was sacked was nothing to do with Penn wanting an upgrade.
Isn't it so Seibold? I'm sure he's read yet another study on why 7min is ideal when dressing down employees in the workplace blah blah blah in this month's new age psychological HR mumbo jumbo magazine. This is very concerning for me.

We screwed over dessie and the players loved him as did i. He had us on a 5 game winning streak without turbo and were were heavy favourites to smash the roosters 🐓. Alas .... now we have this pretender who's done nothing running our proud club into the ground. ****! Dce a one club legend thus far is leaving us. Mind boggling! He's leaving because he wants to win another trophy and our team isn't upto it and the coach and recruitment is to blameCorrect. a shameful episode in our history orchestrated by the tone deaf, silver spooner Mr Fluffy ,who then scuttled away like a rat from the problem he created all by himself.Ww screwed over dessie and the players loved him as did i. Tough judgeI must be watching a different game - Sipley isn't of first grade standard anymore due to his lateral quickness (slowness?)
And is prone to a handing error as well.
But as you say, he's got plenty of mates lately that have been just as bad.
Maybe the fact I'd thrown a brick through my TV during the game didn't help with my player assessmentsTough judge
I’d call 157m 4 tackle breaks, 2 line breaks, 1 try, 15 tackles and 0 misses in 34mins in his first game back quite comfortably NRL standard
I feel ya, apart from the fact I’m generally emotionless watching the games these daysMaybe the fact I'd thrown a brick through my TV during the game didn't help with my player assessments
As long as the Penns are involved we're fxcked. They are the root cause off this decade of failure mess. They have no clue what they are doing and they only hire people who are cheap or who will jack them off and tell them what they want to hear. Fxck the Penns.a shameful episode in our history orchestrated by the tone deaf, silver spooner Mr Fluffy ,who then scuttled away like a rat from the problem he created all by himself.
You shake your head at some of the decisions that individual has made e.g. Tooves sacking, rainbow jersey gate, treatment of Des Mk1 and Mk2,bungled negotiations with Foz and DCE Mk1 and Mk2 (I think I can blame that on him ,hmm maybe not but anways,,) penny pinching on coaches Barrett, Siebold ,garden furniture etc .
Anyways lets hope what ever happens in the next few weeks is for the long term benefit of Manly !!
Any player that doesn’t try their best to win should be sacked. If the players know that Seibs has 2 games to get the team back in order, then those players who no longer support him will not play to their potential during these games, ensuring 2 more losses, and ultimately secure Seibolds fate, and exit.
Like you, i love Tof and have been a big supporter of him on here. There was a period early last year when I thought he had broken through, but injuries have hampered him. Hoping he can find his best form.I feel ya, apart from the fact I’m generally emotionless watching the games these days
Tof isn’t a world beater, but I love his attitude and from all reports is a great guy behind the scenes around the club. When all the other forwards were injured last year, he was out there on 1 leg for about a month trying to get through, i respect that. The suspension he got was extremely harsh, he was knocked out entering that tackle, but the shape he has came back from break shows a work ethic that you can question among many others, most notably the bloke who wants to be a pro boxer managing to find plenty of extra timber
I’m surprised that it took him 7 minutes to tell some of the players that they were playing like sh1t!I wonder if there was a time-keeper in these meetings with a stopwatch making sure that no meeting went over (or under) the seven minute mark.
Solution? Don’t visit….. ever.Random question on a Manly Crisis and the effect on Silvertails.
@Dan does site traffic and engagement spike when we are struggling?
I tend to visit and post less when things are dire as I dont like wallowing but I pop on and its like a million new posts and threads.
Got to be good for your metrics.
I agree about Tof. His defensive misses have been an issue at times, but I love his attitude and I am impressed with how fit he looks since he has come back.I feel ya, apart from the fact I’m generally emotionless watching the games these days
