Agree The Who that DCE is the priority, though the impact B. Stewart has on this team is massive & bad knee or anything else he would be 2nd priority for mine.
Foz & Gifty are obviously up there also, but I have a firm belief that if the players are not keen to represent that Seaeagles emblem with pride & prefer to be elsewhere - so be it. Theres nothing that decimates a club more quickly than high profile players spreading a contagious disharmony through the ranks.
In saying that most of these rumours appear to be beatups by beatoffs.

I'm sure almost all the players that leave Manly is for the money, not because they are unhappy. While other clubs throw ludicrous money at our players (Hoppa Jrn is the most obvious example) it will continue and you can't blame the players.

To this day I dont blame Hoppa for taking that outragous cash, but I despise the way he went about it - this is prob the best example of what I meant last post. Any player that leaves for a ridiculous amont higher than we can offer - good luck & thanks for the memories.
I dont have much faith in the medias claims anyways but if players are leaving - make it clear - it could impact who we can retain.

I still think we could be a force with different back rowers not all replaced at once mind you but if one of them was to go we could recover from it. Good number 9's like Ballin however are much harder to find. Ask Melbourne how they would go without Smith. and look at all the teams in the bottom 3 last year, common element is no specialist hooker. co-incidentally Dogs lost Ennis and went rubbish. Im not sayin back row isnt important im just saying a hooker like Ballin is.

Despite some of our fans long held support of the Sea Eagles, the moniker 'Turtle' may not be familiar to all of the Manly Faithful when it comes to a young Eagles player. Unless Greg Conescu has decided to make a move interstate and make a comeback in his early 50's! Just a heads up for the uninitiated....
